Dannie the Potatoe
Hi, I'm Danyel, but everyone calls me Dannie! I'm the creator & founder of Create-O Potatoe. Obviously I love cute and cozy art, but with my brand, while I really wanted it to resonate with kids, I wanted it to bring a childhood joy to adults as they browse.
As someone who had a childhood with fun moments, but ultimately didn't fully get to enjoy it and had to grow up early, my art embodies all that was missed, wanted, and seen. I want adults to know that they can still be a kid at heart, that it's not our fault we had to grow up early and work when we should have been enjoying being a kid.
And to the children who fall in love with my art, keep being a child. Laugh, cry, smile, frown, and most importantly, make mistakes.
My main characters of Create-O Potatoe® each embody a piece of my personality brought to life in silly stories, merch, and most importantly, connective art.
